About The Position

This is a pipeline position for an anticipated new contract, with staffing expected to begin in November 2026. Employment opportunities are contingent upon final staffing requirements. Applications are being accepted in advance to identify qualified candidates for potential openings. The role involves researching, studying, and preparing maps and other spatial data in digital or graphic form for various purposes such as legal, social, political, educational, and design. This may include working with Geographic Information Systems (GIS), designing and evaluating algorithms, data structures, and user interfaces for GIS and mapping systems, and collecting, analyzing, and interpreting geographic information from geodetic surveys, aerial photographs, and satellite data. Illustrative examples of this role include Digital Cartographer, Mapper, and Topographer.

Requirements

• TS/SCI with Full-Scope polygraph clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Research, study, and prepare maps and other spatial data in digital or graphic form for legal, social, political, educational, and design purposes.
• Work with Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
• Design and evaluate algorithms, data structures, and user interfaces for GIS and mapping systems.
