About The Position

As a Geospatial Data Engineer within Arden University’s Data Practice, you’ll play a key role in designing, developing and delivering high-quality geospatial data pipelines and features that support evidence-based decision-making across the University. Working closely with the Data Product Lead and Lead Engineer, you’ll take technical ownership of geospatial data curation and GIS-based analysis, developing reliable and scalable solutions that enable geospatial data to be efficiently managed, integrated and made accessible for analytical and decision-making purposes. You’ll collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, analysts and business teams to ensure geospatial data flows effectively through our data environment and supports the development of valuable data products. You’ll have the opportunity to apply your technical expertise to large-scale datasets and help shape how geospatial information is used across the University. While geospatial data engineering will be your primary focus, you’ll also contribute to wider data engineering priorities where required, including data governance, data quality and operational support. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing data practice and help develop robust, data-driven solutions that have a meaningful impact across Arden University.
