Currently, GDIT is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Geospatial Analyst to join our team in a domestic location.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated expertise in spatial surveillance, and command and control systems with a focus on RAM and UAS detection technologies.
  • Proven ability to assess multiple, fast-moving targets, identify genuine threats, and make sound decisions under pressure.
  • High level of precision in monitoring radar data and interpreting complex data.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities for clear, concise reporting to command and operational teams.
  • 1-3 Years of relevant experience in an Operations Center or with Command-and-Control Systems.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Security clearance level: Must have Secret Clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret.
  • US citizenship required.
  • Role requirements: Potential travel.

Nice To Haves

  • Specialized training or certification in radar operation preferred.
  • Advanced roles may require additional education.

Responsibilities

  • Continuously monitor command and control/radar displays to identify and track RAM and UAS threats, ensuring early warning and situational awareness for deployed units.
  • Analyze data to differentiate between hostile projectiles, aerial threats, and non-threats, delivering accurate, actionable information to command elements.
  • Operate and maintain sophisticated equipment, assist troubleshooting technical issues, and perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure peak system performance in challenging field conditions.
  • Relay critical threat data and system status updates to command centers and response teams using secure communication protocols, enabling rapid and informed tactical responses.
  • Adhere to strict operational procedures to safeguard personnel, maintain system integrity, and ensure compliance with all safety and security standards.
