Requirements

High School Diploma / GED required.
5+ years’ experience in survey and land mapping required.
License Surveyor In Training (LSIT) Certification
Valid Driver’s License
Expert knowledge of topographic and cross-section surveys to support planning, design, materials and cost projections for the project site.
Strong communication skills, proven with engineering teams and management on project sites.
Expert technical skill with survey instruments and Company-prescribed programs and testing.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related preferred.

Responsibilities

Analyze land readings, contract specifications and industry regulations to model project layouts for one or more project sites in a division.
Conduct topographic and cross-section surveys to support planning, design, materials and cost projections for the project management team.
Assist in the evaluation of potential dimensions and other field problems.
Assist with conducting quantity calculations as required.
