Geologist
About The Position
Kleinfelder's Environmental team is looking for a Geologist, Environmental Engineer, or Environmental Scientist for their Kingsville, TX office. This position involves the collection of environmental data from sites in various stages of assessment and remediation. The role requires working under direct supervision to complete assigned field and office tasks, including groundwater and soil sampling, monitoring well installation, receptor identification, data analysis, technical report writing, and progressing sites towards regulatory closure. The position also emphasizes learning data collection fundamentals, data validity, QA/QC, and scientific observation and documentation. Work will be performed within the context of local, state, and federal regulations, client requirements, and as part of a project team under the direction of a project manager.
Requirements
- 3-5 years' experience
- strong, technical or educational background in geology or engineering
- ability to provide technical support on projects
- strong communication skills
- good writing skills
- OSHA 40HR HAZWOPER training

Responsibilities
