We currently have a need for an Environmental Engineer/Geologist/Scientist in our Mineola, NY Office. Come join our team! Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering, or related field
- 2-5 years’ experience (entry level candidates will also be considered)
- Self-starter with strong analytical and writing skills
- Project scheduling experience with budget management skills required
- Field experience
- Strong communication skills required
Nice To Haves
- Asbestos experience or professional license a plus
Responsibilities
- Preparation of ASTM-compliant Phase I ESAs
- Drilling/excavating contractor oversight, soil/groundwater/soil vapor sample collection
- Soil logging/geologic formation
- Construction activities oversight including excavations, monitoring well installations, UST investigations/closures, etc.
- CAMP implementation and work zone monitoring
- Field activity report writing
- Assist project PMs with preparation of various summary reports and documents
