About The Position

This is an exciting opportunity to join us as a Geospatial Data Scientist to support NGA and bring structure, transparency, and defensibility to complex analytic problems! Looked upon your expertise to design, refine, and operationalize analytic models that bring consistency and transparency to mission analysis. From structuring complex GEOINT attributes into measurable, defensible scoring frameworks, to replacing manual or legacy analytic processes with automated, repeatable workflows. You’ll work directly with analysts and branch leadership to ensure models reflect real mission needs and ensure transparency. Tradecraft integrity and methodological rigor in every product. Requirements

Current active Top Secret / SCI clearance with the ability to obtain CI poly.
Master’s degree + 5 years / Bachelor’s degree + 7 years / Associate’s degree + 8 years / 10+ years of relevant experience
Strong proficiency in Python and SQL to support in extracting, transforming, and structuring large, complex datasets.
Familiarity with ArcGIS or similar geospatial tools to assist in model integration effectively with existing analytic platforms.
Experience automating workflows and building dashboards to ensure repeatability.
Understanding of GEOINT standards and tradecraft to ensure analytic integrity and confidence in outputs.
Experience building defensible analytic models in order to articulate how inputs become outputs and ensure the scoring logic can withstand scrutiny.
