About The Position

The R&D Discovery and Technology Futures group is looking for a creative and energetic Genomics Scientist to be at the forefront of innovating the next generation of IDEXX products. The successful candidate will be highly motivated, inquisitive, and excel in a highly collaborative and multi-disciplinary environment. In this role you will specialize in developing molecular assays (PCR based); performing data analyses and analytical validation. You will join a group of highly talented, technically focused individuals working together to identify solutions to complex challenges. This will require you to exercise your analytical and creative thought-process, sound judgement, strong communications skills, and curiosity. Why This Role Matters: At IDEXX, cutting-edge technologies in genomics are playing an increasingly important role in advancing pet health diagnostics, and this position directly contributes to that work. As a Scientist II in the Genomics group, you will design, develop, and validate PCR-based molecular assays that support molecular assay development across the Discovery pipeline. Working collaboratively with a talented, multi-disciplinary team, you will help translate experimental data into scientific insights that move projects forward. Your work will directly enable accurate diagnoses for millions of pets, and support the veterinarians and pet owners who care for them.
