About The Position
The Lemmen-Holton Cancer Pavilion, located at 145 Michigan St. on the Medical Mile, is dedicated to treating cancer with the latest technologies and treatments, including gene sequencing of tumors, targeted therapy, and advanced oncology surgery techniques. We utilize a team approach, bringing together specialized expertise for each patient's specific cancer type. Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, offering diverse care options and opportunities for professional growth. This role is responsible for providing quality education, follow-up, and emotional support to patients and their families. The position involves case management across inpatient and outpatient settings to ensure continuity of care and outcome measurement. Additionally, the role manages projects and programs related to clinical management and performs quality improvement activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree Nursing
- 5 years of previous nursing or CDE clinical experience
- Prior teaching with patients of all ages
- LIC-Registered Nurse (RN) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 90 Days or CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 90 Days
- CRT-Oncology Certified Nurse - ONCC Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation required within 1 year
- CRT-Adv Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - AHA American Heart Association 120 Days or CRT-Pediatric Adv Life Support (PALS) - AHA American Heart Association 120 Days
