About The Position
This position will provide genetics counseling and appropriate follow-up to adult ECU Health Cancer Care (ECUHMC CC) patients.
Requirements
- Masters degree in Genetic Counseling or higher.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as a team member.
- Ability to take initiative and meet objectives.
- Independent judgment.
- Ability to manage projects.
- Knowledge of software applications.
- Eligible within 1 year of employment, or Certified by the American Board of Genetic Counseling or American Board of Medical Genetics (ABGC / ABMG).
- Less than 1 year experience in Genetic Counseling internship is required.
Nice To Haves
- Experience as a genetics counselor at other academic institutions or pharmaceutical companies.
