About The Position
This is a remote Genetic Counselor contract position for 26 weeks. The tentative schedule is Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Alaska Time, at 0.8 FTE. Some meetings and conferences take place at other hours, including a weekly conference at 6:00 a.m. Alaska Time, so clinicians are expected to be flexible with their hours to support the role. Providence will provide a laptop.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Genetic Counseling from an accredited program by a national certification board for medical genetics personnel.
- National Certified Genetic Counselor credential from the American Board of Genetic Counseling.
- At least 1 year of experience.
Nice To Haves
- 2 years of experience preferred.
- Experience specifically in Oncology/Hematology preferred.
- First-time travelers are approved.
