About The Position

At Pioneer Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electrical, we are seeking a Generators Technician who possesses the charm to engage with customers, the follow-through to close deals, and a genuine desire to help people. Our Power Advisors assist homeowners in maintaining comfort throughout the year by providing honest advice and solving real problems. This role offers the opportunity to achieve financial freedom, whether you are a seasoned Generator technician with strong communication skills or a salesperson knowledgeable in installing and commissioning standby generator systems. We provide the necessary tools for success, allowing you to pursue your own business development and "eat what you kill."

Requirements

• 2+ years of sales experience.
• 1+ years of residential Electrical/Generator experience (preferred)
• Generac Liquid Cooled Certification (preferred)
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Willingness to undergo a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently, without being micromanaged.
• Commitment to personal growth, ownership, and being part of a winning team.

Nice To Haves

• 1+ years of residential Electrical/Generator experience
• Generac Liquid Cooled Certification

Responsibilities

• Maintain customer relationships, seek referrals, and build your own pipeline.
• Educate homeowners on standby generator systems and power solutions.
• Perform load calculations and recommend properly sized systems.
• Create professional proposals and close profitable installation jobs.
• Obtain customer-authorized agreements and deposits.
• Actively pursue referrals and neighborhood prospecting.
• Review all sold jobs with department leadership.
• Document your sales in our trade software, ServiceTitan, to keep your day running smooth.
