About The Position

This role is for a Generator Technician in Power & Construction Equipment. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license with insurability, and a DOT Medical Card. A technical degree or certifications are desirable. Candidates must be 21 years of age or older and possess excellent mechanical aptitude, the ability to troubleshoot from wiring schematics, and knowledge of A/C D/C circuits, electrical principles, and basic diesel engines. Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills are essential, as is the ability to work independently and multitask. Computer proficiency with MS Office products and data entry is required. The role also requires availability for an on-call schedule and the ability to represent the company positively, pass a background check, and periodic drug screens. Generator and towing experience are preferred, as are military, EGSA, or factory certifications.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license; able to meet and maintain insurance criteria for insurability
DOT Medical Card
21+ years of age
Excellent mechanical aptitude
Able to comprehend and troubleshoot from wiring schematics
Knowledge of A/C D/C circuits and electrical principles
Basic knowledge of diesel engines
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in English
Excellent customer service skills
Able to work well unsupervised; able to work independently
Good organizational skills and ability to multi-task required
Computer skills to include MS office products (Word, Excel, Outlook); data entry
Must represent the company in a positive manner at all times
Must be able to pass background check and periodic drug screens
