National Power is seeking a Generator Service Technician for its Chatsworth, GA market. Reporting to the CISV Service Manager, this role involves the maintenance and repair of generator sets and other electrical equipment. Key duties include performing various levels of maintenance and repair on generators and parallel systems (5-5000kw), troubleshooting and repairing Automatic Transfer Switches (including bypass isolation and closed transition types), conducting preventative maintenance, troubleshooting AC and DC circuits, replacing components, performing warranty work, and commissioning new generator systems. The technician will also troubleshoot and repair diesel or gaseous engines, perform load bank testing, and assist other technicians. This is a remote position requiring the technician to work from home, manage vehicle maintenance, maintain parts inventory, and ensure the security of company property. Training will be provided, potentially including courses in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
