About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Generator Technician to join a large operation in the Georgetown/Milton, ON region. Candidates looking for internal advancement opportunities, training, and a position to work on multiple ranges of equipment/industries will be successful. Generator Technicians will be responsible for maintenance and repairs to Cummins Power Units, High-Voltage troubleshooting, and brands from Kubota, Perkins and John Deere. Automotive/Electrician qualifications needed, with ability to read electrical schematics, knowledge of Diesel Engines, part and component replacements. Candidates will be subject to criminal background checks, and security clearance.

Requirements

• Automotive/Electrician qualifications
• College Diploma: relevant Trade program, Electrical Engineering
• Valid Passport
• Citizenship (defense-sector contracts)
• Ontario G Class Driver's License
• Own Basic Tools
• Ability to travel on short notice

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and repairs to Cummins Power Units
• High-Voltage troubleshooting
• Maintenance and repairs to equipment from Kubota, Perkins and John Deere
• Ability to read electrical schematics
• Knowledge of Diesel Engines
• Part and component replacements
• Work independently on schematics, diagrams, electro-mechanical repairs
