About The Position

Morrico Equipment is looking for a skilled and dependable Generator Diesel Mechanic to join our Service team in Guam. In this role, you will diagnose, repair, service, and maintain diesel and gas-powered generator equipment both in the workshop and at customer job sites. If you enjoy solving technical challenges, working with engines and electrical systems, and delivering quality service to customers—we’d love to hear from you.

Requirements

  • Technical or trade school certification in mechanical services or related field preferred
  • Two to three years of generator maintenance and repair experience preferred
  • Experience with controllers, alternators, engine systems, and diagnostics
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Ability to obtain DBIDS/Rapid Gate base access
  • Must provide basic personal tools required for the role
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
  • Reliable, safety-focused, and team-oriented

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair diesel and gas-powered generators in the workshop or field
  • Perform overhauls and repairs on controllers, alternators, engines, and electrical systems
  • Inspect equipment, identify root causes of failures, and determine required parts
  • Complete preventative maintenance, servicing, and emergency field repairs as needed
  • Accurately complete work orders, timecards, and jobs within quoted labor hours
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workshop, service truck, and tool inventory
  • Provide professional and responsive customer service to clients
