Peak Rental’s Generator Mechanic is responsible for the repair and maintenance of generators and light towers, as well as forced air heaters. The mechanic will daily assess the equipment and perform routine maintenance like fueling and changing oil and filters. The mechanic should diagnose any fault and repair generator emergencies. Company work truck and tools are provided. The essential job functions include, but are not limited to: Conducting periodic inspections. Correcting identified deficiencies. Scheduling and oversight of major repairs. Completing required documentation. Excellent communication will be required; Open communication with management on status of repairs and/or maintenance. Ensuring a clean, safe work environment at all times. Function “on-call” in order to respond to emergency call-outs. Troubleshoots and repairs alternating current electrical systems on generators, generator controls and engine related mechanical failures. Conducting periodic inspections. Performs routine preventative maintenance, oil and filter changes and inspections on all . Correcting identified deficiencies. Scheduling and oversight of major repairs. Completing required documentation. Excellent communication will be required; Open communication with management on status of repairs and/or maintenance.
