About The Position

AI Social is one of the most ambitious products ever shipped by Luxury Presence. It is an AI agent that produces on-brand Instagram carousels and reels for every Luxury Presence customer, from raw input data to finished media. This role involves LLMs designing, choosing photos, voicing scripts, picking cuts, and composing the final frame. As the Generative Media Engineer on AI Social, you will own the render pipeline, the prompts and agent loops that drive it, and the visual quality of what ships. Product and content strategy partners will set the direction; engineering and design peers will ship alongside you. This is an unusual role at the intersection of code, design, AI, and social media.

Requirements

Solid working knowledge of TypeScript and Node.js.
Comfortable shipping production code.
Hands-on experience with LLM-driven systems (Prompts, structured outputs, tool-calling, agent loops, evals).
At least one shipped piece of generative media (image, video, voice, or music) that someone other than you has seen and used.
A portfolio or body of work demonstrating both technical depth and design sensibility.
Technical fluency with AI tools, including using AI-assisted development tools in your daily workflow.
Familiarity with MCPs and how tools like Figma, Notion, and Linear connect into AI-assisted workflows.
Ability to operate with high ownership and low ego.
Patience and clarity when communicating with people outside engineering.

Nice To Haves

A personal creator practice somewhere (a feed, a portfolio, a side project, a YouTube channel, an Are.na).
Formal or self-taught grounding in design, visual art, film, or motion.
A dabbler and experimenter with AI tools, trying new prompts and sharing learnings.
Strong convictions about quality, but the ability to ship.
Partner well with non-engineers.

Responsibilities

Own the render pipeline, the prompts and agent loops that drive it, and the visual quality of what ships.
Ship production code and grow into the company's stack.
Work with LLM-driven systems, including prompts, structured outputs, tool-calling, agent loops, and evals.
Collaborate with product, design, and content strategy partners.
Move between exploratory PoC work and shipped-to-customers polish.
Use AI-assisted development tools like Claude Code, Cursor, or similar in your daily workflow.
Experiment with new prompts, push their limits, and share learnings.
Build systems and templates that can be reused.
Contribute to shared systems and leverage constraints.
Raise the bar on everything you ship.
