About The Position

Quevera is seeking a highly skilled Generative AI Engineer focused on model development. The position is based in Herndon, Virginia, or Springfield, Virginia, and requires an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph. The role centers on designing, developing, deploying, and optimizing scalable, secure AI model development solutions on AWS. Work includes selecting and fine-tuning models, developing Generative AI applications, optimizing performance, and collaborating with customer stakeholders to address operational needs.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
• Three or more years of experience with AI model development analysis tools, techniques, and parameters affecting model performance.
• Two or more years of Generative AI model development experience.
• Experience defining and creating benchmarks to assess Generative AI model performance.
• Experience applying quantitative analysis to solve business problems.
• Experience working on multi-team, cross-disciplinary projects.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement complex, scalable, and secure model development solutions on AWS tailored to customer requirements.
• Select and fine-tune appropriate models for specific use cases.
• Develop and deploy models and Generative AI applications to address operational challenges.
• Conduct experiments and optimize model performance at scale.
• Collaborate with customer stakeholders to identify high-value model development use cases and gather requirements.
• Propose effective strategies for implementing model development solutions.
