About The Position

The General Warehouse position is critical to ensuring the efficient operation of warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products. This role involves maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring that all goods are handled safely and in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards. The successful candidate will contribute to optimizing warehouse workflows to support timely order fulfillment and minimize errors. Collaboration with team members and other departments is essential to coordinate shipments and resolve any logistical challenges. Ultimately, this role supports the overall supply chain by ensuring that products are available and delivered in a timely and organized manner.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Basic math and reading skills to accurately process orders and inventory.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and work effectively in a team setting.

Nice To Haves

• Forklift operator certification.
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory software.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Previous experience in shipping and receiving operations.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime or weekends if necessary.
• Prior experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and accurately document incoming shipments.
• Organize and store inventory in designated locations to maximize space and accessibility.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to company standards.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely, including forklifts and pallet jacks, as required.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards within the warehouse environment.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and report discrepancies to management.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely order processing.
• Assist in loading and unloading delivery vehicles as needed.
