Requirements

Must not be afraid of heights, as use of an order picker at height is part of this position.
Mechanical- Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.

Nice To Haves

High school or equivalency, and/or related experience is preferred but not required.
Experience operating a forklift is also preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Manually and using powered equipment, move tires and stock materials in to and out of racked bins in a warehouse environment.
Perform other general labor as well as other duties as assigned by the manager.
Operating a forklift and related equipment to load and unload trucks and move material within the warehouse.
Review shipments and advise management of shortages or damages shipments.
Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments or material or equipment needs.
Attach identifying tags to containers or mark them with identifying information.
Record numbers of units handled or moved, using daily production sheets, work tickets or handheld scanner.
Maintaining warehouse area in a neat and organized manner.
Compliance with OSHA regulations and safety requirements pertaining to this position.
