About The Position

The General Warehouse Person is responsible for performing tasks involved in processing and shipping orders to the stores that service our customers. This role requires a willingness to work a flexible shift, including overtime as needed, and the ability to stand for 8-10 hours daily. The position involves various physical tasks such as pushing, pulling, bending, grasping, and lifting up to 50 pounds, all with or without reasonable accommodation. Requirements

• Willing and able to stand at least 8-10 hours with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Willing and able to perform tasks which include pushing, pulling, bending, grasping, daily pre-shift stretching, and lifting with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Willing and able to carry up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
• High school/GED diploma preferred.
• At least two years of experience in a warehouse or distribution center.
• At least 6 months experience operating motorized material handling equipment.
• At least 6 months experience with radio frequency (RF) scanning.
• At least 6 months experience entering and retrieving data in an inventory management system.

Responsibilities

• Receiving, scanning, picking, packing, auditing and shipping merchandise to the stores that service our customers.
• Working in areas higher than ground level at times.
• Tracking all inbound and outbound items through radio frequency (RF) scanning to ensure accountability in inventory.
• Verifying orders and ensuring entry into the inventory management system.
• Operating a clean and safe work environment, ensuring that all areas of the distribution center are well maintained, kept orderly and free of debris.
• Maintaining quality standards set forth by distribution center management.
