About The Position

Penn Stainless is looking for qualified candidates to join their team. Founded in 1949, Penn Stainless Products, Inc. is a growing specialty metal full-line service center with locations in Quakertown and Jackson Center, PA. Penn Stainless Products practices on-going process improvements to insure that we supply our customers with the highest level of stainless steel products and in-house processing. This position reports to the Quakertown, PA location. We are looking for individuals who are dependable, resourceful and self-motivated.

Requirements

• Previous warehouse experience a plus- but not required
• Forklift experience a plus but not required - on the job training provided
• High school graduate
• Dependable
• Resourceful
• Self-motivated
• Safety oriented
• Good attendance

Responsibilities

• Move, position oneself, ascend/descend
• Prepare and operate machinery and tools
• Communicate in loud noise environments
• Lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. and occasionally 75 lbs.
• Activate hand and foot controls for equipment operation
• Tolerate changes in temperature
