About The Position
TJ Maxx Distribution Center, San Antonio is seeking a General Warehouse Associate - Weekend Shift Forklift Driver. This role operates on a Friday-Sunday schedule from 5:00 AM to 5:30 PM. The pay for this position is $22.00 per hour, with the potential for additional earnings based on production levels. The Bulk/Forklift Department is crucial for moving merchandise throughout the distribution center using power industrial trucks (PIT). While associates are typically assigned to a specific department, they may be asked to work in other areas as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of forklift experience.
- Eye exam is required.
- Will be certified on both RC and TSP.
- All PIT training is done on site by a certified trainer.
Responsibilities
- Use power industrial trucks (PIT) to move merchandise to and from various departments.
- Count, select and sort objects such as totes, boxes, merchandise, or other items as assigned.
- Match receipts against purchase orders.
- Ticket merchandise or other items with gum labels, ticketing gun, or pin tickets.
- Pack or unpack merchandise.
- Seal boxes for shipping when packing is completed.
- Manual material handling of objects such as totes, boxes, garments or other items up to 10 lbs. constantly, up to 50 lbs. frequently, and up to 60 lbs. occasionally.
