About The Position

HSHS is seeking a Diagnostic/Medical/Vascular Sonographer. Ideal candidates are patient-focused, mission-driven individuals comfortable working independently with all age groups using a variety of imaging equipment and systems. Candidates with experience or interest in Breast Imaging are preferred. New grads welcome to apply. Scheduled Weekly Hours: 32. Requirements

  • Graduate of or currently enrolled in an allied health program is required.
  • Certification as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) from the American Registry of Diagnostic Sonographers (ARDMS) or a Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) is required.
  • OR must be eligible to sit for the RVT or RVS exam AND must obtain registry within 6 months of hire.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Candidates with experience or interest in Breast Imaging are preferred.
  • Associates degree in allied health, applied science or completion of certificate/training program is preferred.
  • Experience in ultrasound/sonography preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Imaging Focus: Diagnostic/Medical/Vascular
  • Core Function: Imaging
  • Schedule: 32 hours weekly - varied start times between 6am-8:30am (8 hour shifts), on call every 4th weekend, holiday rotation
  • Facility: St. Clare Hospital but to cover at St. Vincent Hospital and St. Mary's Hospital as well when needed
  • Location: Oconto Falls, and Green Bay, WI
