About The Position
Monitor the production process by spreading, inspecting and packing product. Temperatures throughout plant average 50 degrees. Required to wear hairnet, smock, boots, ear plugs, gloves, plastic sleeves, and aprons provided by the Company. Need to comply with Food Safety: GMP’s, SSOP, SOP, HACCP, SQF, Quality & USDA requirements.
Requirements

Nice To Haves
- High School Diploma or GED
- Palletjack Certification for certain production workers
Responsibilities
- Spread, inspect, and pack product.
- Use both hands.
- Stand by a continually moving conveyor to spread and inspect goods.
- Remove scrap product from both sides of conveyor belt and put into inedible barrel.
- Pack product into boxes weighing 9# - 35# depending on product.
- Push boxes down a running conveyor from scale, close them, and push through tape machine.
- Stack boxes to a height of between 4 to 6 feet.
- Transfer product to freezer by use of palletjacks.
- Report any issues with product to lead/manager/supervisor.
- Work as a team under supervision of lead.
- Sweep/clean production area when the line is down.
- Follow all safety rules and regulations per established company policies.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
