About The Position

This role involves performing a variety of manufacturing tasks using production equipment to ensure a steady workflow. The position requires the ability to perform minor equipment adjustments and ensure quality checks are performed throughout the production process. Duties may include stacking boxes, cleaning facility areas, and other general helper tasks. The role also requires moving and lifting heavy objects, maintaining production and work records, examining products for conformance to specifications, and cleaning work areas as needed. Additionally, responsibilities include sorting manufacturing materials and products, loading and unloading materials into machinery, and loading, unloading, and stacking products, materials, and containers. Measuring, weighing, or counting products and materials, operating hoists, winches, and hydraulic booms, performing safety inspections, and using hand and power tools are also part of the job. Correctly marking products and containers for identification is also required.

Requirements

High School Graduate or GED.
Two out of last four years must have worked full or part-time.
Successful candidate must be willing to work swing and graveyard shifts, along with required overtime as needed.
Must have a strong safety background and a good attendance record.
Excellent communication and team work skills are essential.
Must be able to push, pull, bend, and twist repetitively.
Have an understanding that both temperatures and work volume may vary.

Nice To Haves

Previous plant manufacturing experience, particularly within the corrugated or packaging industry is a plus.

Responsibilities
