About The Position
This job consists of cleaning, general shipping work, unloading trucks in warehouse, installing dunnage in trucks, and driving a forklift. The role is responsible for food safety by following HACCP and Food Safety policies/procedures, and for plant safety by observing persons entering the work area, asking if assistance is needed, and reporting unauthorized persons to the supervisor. Attendance at required training is also expected.
Requirements
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients
