About The Position

The General Utility position is a basic labor job that can be located in several different functional areas of the plant. In this position the employee will be completing several tasks that are specific to that area. This specific application is for general utility positions on 2nd shift that will potentially be 4 - 12 hour shifts each week after the training period.

Requirements

• Able to stand 8-10 hours per day
• Able to bend or lift 8-10 hours per day
• Able to lift 25 to 35 pounds repetitively
• Able to do repetitive wrist motions/demonstrate good range of motion in wrists
• Able to work overtime as required
• Able to wear rubberized personal protective equipment

Responsibilities

• Rotating and relieving other general utility positions
• Housekeeping and ensuring area are clean and free of debris
• Moving precious materials to and from the area using a pallet jack
• Being a back-up for “skilled” positions
• Other duties as assigned
• Record precious material moved to and from the area
• Record trash wasted move from the area
• Complete other paperwork as requested
• Follow all Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP’S)
• Follow all plant and area safety rules and regulations
• Follow all plant rules and polices
