About The Position
ARAMARK is seeking housekeeping employees for the food services department at Bishop’s University. This role involves cleaning assigned areas according to Aramark and client standards, performing general cleaning duties, and maintaining housekeeping equipment. The position requires the ability to follow safety procedures, work independently, and meet operational needs. The final candidate will need to complete a criminal background check and, if applicable, a vulnerable sector check.
Requirements
- Must be able to follow safety procedures and basic precautions due to physical risks and the use of hazardous chemicals
- Must be able to work independently with limited supervision
- Strong organizational skills and reliability
- Ability to meet operational needs
Responsibilities
- Cleans assigned areas in accordance with Aramark and client standards and requirements
- Sweeps and mops service areas, kitchen, and around workstations after operating hours
- Properly maintains housekeeping equipment
- Performs general cleaning duties
- Carries out other tasks assigned by the manager
- Window cleaning
