About The Position
Hartford Healthcare is seeking a per diem Physician Assistant to join the General Surgery team at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital. Duties include intra-operative assisting, comprehensive inpatient services including daily rounds and surgical consultations, emergency room assessments of surgical patients, admissions and discharges. We cover general surgery and orthopedics with some operative assisting of other surgical specialties.
Requirements
- Unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License (or eligible)
- Physician Assistant training
- 2+ years’ experience in general surgery
Responsibilities
- Intra-operative assisting
- Comprehensive inpatient services including daily rounds and surgical consultations
- Emergency room assessments of surgical patients
- Admissions and discharges
- Operative assisting of other surgical specialties
