Aiken Regional Medical Centers in Aiken, SC is recruiting a Board Certified/Board Eligible (BC/BE) General Surgeon for an employed position with Aiken Surgical Associates (ASA). ASA is a collegial group consisting of 4 general surgeons and 1 Physician Assistant, boasting a 30-year history in Aiken, a highly reputable standing, and consistent high patient satisfaction scores. The group performs a full range of surgical procedures utilizing all approaches, including robotics. Their current surgical mix encompasses abdominal, breast/SO, colorectal, dermatologic, endocrine, esophageal, foregut/TIF, hernia repair, upper and lower GI/scopes, thyroid, and wound care. ASA operates with two dedicated operating rooms at Aiken Regional Medical Centers (ARMC), where nearly 9,000 surgeries are performed annually. Aiken Regional Medical Centers is a 273 licensed-bed acute care hospital, recognized for its leadership in patient safety and quality healthcare services, many of which have received state, regional, or national recognition. With a medical staff of nearly 250 physicians across more than 40 specialties, ARMC received Four Zero Harm Awards in 2023 and successive “A” safety grades from the Leapfrog Group, most recently in Fall 2023.
