About The Position

A surgical group is seeking an associate to join their team of 3 General Surgeons, a Surgical PA, and an experienced support team. The practice offers a comprehensive range of general surgery procedures, including gallbladder removals, hernia repairs, colon resections, thyroid procedures, breast surgeries, colonoscopies, and endoscopies. Additionally, in-office procedures such as skin lesion excisions, abscess drainage, and hemorrhoid banding are performed. The office hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. The group practices out of a single office and services one hospital. Call is shared on a 1:4 basis, and there is a built-in referral system.

Requirements

Board-certified or eligible in General Surgery.
Licensed or eligible for licensure in North Carolina.
Ability to perform a broad range of general surgery procedures.
Experience with colonoscopies and endoscopies.
Proficiency in performing in-office procedures like skin lesion excisions, abscess drainage, and hemorrhoid banding.
Willingness to share call duties 1:4.
