About The Position

National Wound Physician Group is seeking a General Surgeon for a position in Eau Claire, WI. This role offers clinical satisfaction, autonomy, and flexibility with no nights, no call, and no weekends. Physicians will become experts in wound management, learning from highly qualified wound-certified physician trainers and Fellowship Directors, and utilizing cutting-edge clinical technologies and the latest wound care modalities. Our physicians provide bedside wound care in over 3,200 facilities across 28 states. We provide physician-level wound management training and a wound fellowship. W2 physicians earn, on average, $300,000 per year plus benefits for a 30-hour work week, with part-time opportunities available. Paid Training is provided.

Requirements

Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice
Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week
Full, active, and unrestricted license in the state you wish to practice
Minimum commitment of 3 days a week within our working days of Monday through Friday

Responsibilities

Become an expert in wound management
Utilize cutting-edge clinical technologies and the latest wound care modalities
Deliver modern wound management at the bedside in the post-acute care setting (Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals)
Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility
Visit 2-3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20-30 patients per day
Complete clinical documentation at the point of care, in real-time during clinical rounds, using our proprietary wound-specific EMR
