About The Position
We are seeking a Board-Certified General Surgeon to join a growing Elective and Acute General Surgery program in Arkansas. This permanent opportunity offers a predictable schedule and excellent work–life balance. The ideal candidate is experienced in a wide range of general surgery procedures and is interested in contributing to program growth and long-term success. Practice Type: General Surgery Trauma: None Be part of a 2-surgeon full-time team Supported opportunity to build a thriving elective practice Elective GS clinic and scheduled cases on weekdays Supported by our mid-level providers (NP’s or PA’s).
Requirements
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in General Surgery
- Active Arkansas medical license (or ability to obtain)
- Current General Surgery operative experience required
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach
Responsibilities
- Perform a full range of elective general surgery procedures
- Upper and lower endoscopy privileges are available, but not required
- Participate in the growth and development of the elective surgery program
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of providers and support staff
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered surgical care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
