General Surgeon - El Paso, TX
About The Position
The National Wound Physician Group is seeking a General Surgeon for a position in El Paso, TX. This role offers clinical satisfaction, autonomy, flexibility, and a strong work-life balance with no nights, no call, and no weekends. Physicians will become experts in wound management, learning from highly qualified trainers and utilizing cutting-edge technologies. The group provides physician-level wound management training and a wound fellowship. Physicians are W2 employees and earn, on average, $300,000 per year plus benefits for a 30-hour work week, with part-time opportunities available. Paid training is provided during onboarding and a 6-month wound care fellowship.
Requirements
- Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice.
- Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.
- Full, active, and unrestricted license in the state you wish to practice.
- Minimum commitment of 3 days a week within our working days of Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities
- Provide bedside wound care in over 3,200 facilities across 28 states.
- Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
- Deliver modern wound management at the bedside in the post-acute care setting (Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals).
- Visit 2-3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20-30 patients per day.
- Perform clinical documentation at the point of care, in real-time during clinical rounds, using a proprietary wound-specific EMR.
