About The Position
General Surgeon Position with National Wound Physician Group offering clinical satisfaction, autonomy, flexibility, and work-life balance. This role involves no nights, no call, and no weekend responsibilities. Physicians become experts in wound management, learning from highly qualified trainers and utilizing cutting-edge technologies. The group provides physician-level wound management training and a wound fellowship. Physicians earn, on average, $300,000 per year plus benefits for a 30-hour work week, with part-time opportunities available. Paid training is provided during onboarding and a 6-month wound care fellowship. This is a W2 employment contract position. Physicians deliver modern wound management at the bedside in post-acute care settings like Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals, conducting weekly wound rounds. The practice is mobile, with physicians visiting 2-3 facilities per day and treating approximately 20-30 patients daily within a 40-60 mile radius. Clinical documentation is done in real-time using a proprietary wound-specific EMR.
Requirements
- Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice.
- Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.
- Full, active, and unrestricted license in the state you wish to practice.
- Minimum commitment of 3 days a week within our working days of Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities
- Provide bedside wound care in post-acute care settings (Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals).

- Perform clinical documentation in real-time using a proprietary wound-specific EMR.
