General Surgeon Position with National Wound Physician Group. This role offers clinical satisfaction, autonomy, and flexibility, with a focus on work-life balance. Physicians will become experts in wound management, learning from highly qualified wound-certified physician trainers and Fellowship Directors, and utilizing cutting-edge clinical technologies and the latest wound care modalities. Our physicians provide bedside wound care in over 3,200 facilities across 28 states. We provide physician-level wound management training and a wound fellowship, giving you all the knowledge and expertise for clinical excellence. W2 physicians earn, on average, $300,000 per year plus benefits for a 30-hour work week. Paid Training is provided during onboarding + 6 months wound care fellowship. The practice involves delivering modern wound management at the bedside in the post-acute care setting, specifically in Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility. This is a mobile practice where physicians visit 2-3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20-30 patients per day within a 40-60 mile radius. Clinical documentation is done at the point of care, in real-time during clinical rounds, using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. W2 employment contract (No work visa sponsorship is available).
