About The Position

We are seeking a General Superintendent to lead field operations across large-scale commercial construction projects in Florida. This individual will serve as a key leader responsible for driving safety, schedule, quality, and overall project execution across multiple jobs. This is a high-impact leadership role overseeing complex projects across sectors such as sports stadiums, healthcare, aviation, and municipal/government work. The ideal candidate is a builder-first leader who can manage field teams, mitigate risk, and deliver projects that exceed client expectations. The position is ideally based in Tampa, with flexibility to consider strong candidates in Naples.

Requirements

• 15+ years of commercial construction experience
• Proven experience as a Lead or General Superintendent on large-scale projects
• Strong background in at least one of the following sectors: Sports / Stadiums, Healthcare, Aviation, Government / Municipal
• Demonstrated ability to lead multiple projects and field teams simultaneously
• Strong knowledge of scheduling, safety, and field operations
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
• Experience working with a Top ENR general contractor
• Background in complex, large-scale projects ($50M+ preferred)
• Experience supporting preconstruction and estimating efforts
• Strong familiarity with Procore, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office suite

Responsibilities

• Lead field operations across multiple projects, ensuring safe, on-time, and on-budget delivery
• Drive project execution through proactive schedule management, sequencing, and coordination
• Identify and mitigate construction risks, implementing solutions for cost overruns or delays
• Champion and enforce safety programs and jobsite standards
• Ensure quality control and adherence to client specifications across all phases of construction
• Lead and mentor superintendents, field staff, and trade partners
• Collaborate with Preconstruction and Operations on planning, logistics, and execution strategy
• Maintain strong communication with clients, stakeholders, and internal leadership
• Oversee project reporting, scheduling, and performance tracking
