About The Position

Rayco Exteriors is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Superintendent with expertise in general construction, preferably with experience in reconstruction of multi-family dwellings. The Superintendent will collaborate with Project Managers, the Head of Construction & Estimating, and Administrative Staff. Key responsibilities include the successful day-to-day management of one or more multi-family exteriors reconstruction projects and job sites, encompassing primary oversight of all on-site construction activities, coordination, oversight, and management of subcontractors, vendors, and Rayco field employees. Additionally, the Superintendent will support Project Managers with client contact, communication, and relationship management.

Requirements

5-7 years of hands-on general construction experience, preferably in multi-family dwelling reconstruction
Highly knowledgeable in the various construction trades, practices, regulations and safety compliance
Excellent and articulate communication skills, with a proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe)
Able to read, interpret, comprehend architectural/engineered plans, and make necessary recommendations or corrections
Maintains a personable, approachable, friendly demeanor with all associates, clients and colleagues.
Maintains a clean, professional, personal appearance
Very responsive and able to multi-task or make changes based on the day-to-day needs of the project
Excellent problem solving and critical thinking ability
Reliable transportation (preferably a truck) and a clean driving background

Nice To Haves

preferably with experience in reconstruction of multi-family dwellings
Preferable experience working with multi-family or multi-unit reconstruction projects and HOA’s
Preferably bi-lingual but not required (English/Spanish)

Responsibilities

Oversight of daily construction, on site staff and quality of work
Oversight of the project schedule
Day-to-day execution, ensuring project is moving forward efficiently in a cost-effective manner
Monitors day-to-day job site safety, security and cleanliness
Oversight of daily subcontractor and vendor performance and on-site workers – the Super records hours worked daily for all subcontractors and staff of subs.
Coordinates with and documents progress and reports to Project Manager and team daily
Reports to Project Manager/team any discoveries outside of scope of work (damages, rot, change orders)
Reports any issues, delays, accidents or other incidents to Project Manager/team
Immediate on-site point of contact for any emergencies or requests of client or upper management
Updates project details in PM software
