About The Position
Westbrook Service Company is seeking a General Superintendent to oversee and coordinate the installation of sheet metal systems in commercial construction projects. This role involves managing a team of sheet metal mechanics, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget while maintaining the highest quality standards. The General Superintendent will also be responsible for reviewing shop drawings, coordinating with other trades, ensuring safety compliance, providing excellent customer service, and keeping accurate project records.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience as a sheet metal superintendent or similar role in commercial construction
- Strong knowledge of sheet metal installation and fabrication techniques
- Strong knowledge of sheet metal codes and regulations
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and lead a team of other mechanics
- Must have a valid driver's license
Nice To Haves
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate the installation of sheet metal systems in commercial construction projects

- Works with pre-construction, project management, and operations to forecast manpower needs and schedule accordingly
- Coordinate with other trades and contractors to ensure seamless integration of sheet metal systems
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
- Provide excellent customer service
- Keep accurate records of progress and completion of projects
