About The Position

Polk Mechanical is seeking a General Superintendent who can unlock the full potential of our jobsite talent and remove the interferences that prevent full productivity of our crews. This role provides hands-on leadership and administration of jobsite production activities, overseeing field labor, scheduling, safety, and financials while helping develop field trade employees.

Requirements

• Strong record of accomplishment overseeing field operations, including labor, scheduling, safety, and financials
• Experience leading multiple Superintendents and large field teams
• Experience with project planning, productivity programs, and workforce development
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of project planning and productivity programs
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on leadership and oversight of jobsite production, including field labor, scheduling, safety, and financial performance
• Oversee Superintendents on assigned projects and ensure alignment with company objectives
• Develop and maintain relationships with project managers, field leadership, and the executive team
• Deliver high-level operational processes and promote a high-performance culture across jobsites
• Maintain safety and productivity standards to meet customer requirements
• Assist field teams with developing and implementing labor savings strategies
• Support development and implementation of digital field processes, including labor tracking and project administration
• Provide coaching, training, and performance management for field leadership and trade employees
