About The Position

The General Superintendent works directly with the Construction Manager and Craft Superintendents to plan, develop, coordinate, and manage craft activities for EPC projects. The role assists with execution plan development and oversees the development and implementation of craft work packaging. It supports project construction operations, including schedules, staffing, budgets, administrative needs, safety, and quality. The position requires travel and may involve temporary residence away from the employee’s primary residence. Work schedules vary by location, with open availability required any time and any day of the week. Compensation includes project-based per diem. Trips home and a company truck may be provided when applicable. Salary rates are set for each project and do not increase with additional hours worked; home-office assignments have a different rate from field assignments. The role works from a field office at the construction site, monitors craft phases, and may travel when not assigned to a site. Site conditions may include delays, bad weather, and emergencies. Onsite work requires care, though it is not usually considered inherently dangerous.
