The General Superintendent HVAC and Electrical Distribution - Facilities Services - UTK position is responsible for leading employees in their duties and providing service to all areas of the campus. This role involves laying out work, providing technical direction for tasks, and offering training opportunities for field employees to prepare them for advancement. The General Superintendent will support the Assistant Director of Utilities Distribution in their duties and act as a substitute during their absence. Responsibilities include ordering materials for special projects and work orders, maintaining critical campus systems, and assisting other shops and departments with various projects. The role also involves interacting with campus contractors to ensure work is completed to campus standards and assisting Engineering with system design and current conditions.
