About The Position

The Assistant Manager supports the Manager in overseeing daily operations of the General Store, including slots, security, cashiers, kitchen staff and supervisors. This role ensures smooth store functioning, promotes a positive work environment, and upholds high standards of customer service and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing daily store operations and staff coordination.
  • Monitor slot activities and ensure compliance with Title 31 reporting requirements.
  • Support inventory control, product placement, and ordering processes.
  • Help implement promotional activities and upselling strategies.
  • Assist in reviewing daily/monthly reports and identifying unusual activity.
  • Support hiring, training, and scheduling of team members.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to staff under manager direction.
  • Foster positive team dynamics and resolve minor conflicts.
  • Act as a role model for IMGR&C values and hospitality standards.
  • Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction through prompt and professional service.
  • Address customer concerns and escalate unresolved issues to GM.
  • Act as a host, explaining slot machine details and store offerings.
  • Enforce company policies, health and safety standards, and regulatory compliance.
  • Assist in maintaining store security operations and loss prevention procedures.
  • Share relevant information with team members and next shifts.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support resort-wide success.
  • Report equipment or property issues to GM or manager.
  • Uphold IMGR&C appearance and professionalism standards.
  • Maintain reliable attendance and communicate absences in advance.
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm, respect, and a positive attitude in all interactions.
  • Take initiative to support team and resort goals beyond assigned duties.
  • Demonstrated commitment to researching and implementing new technologies, including artificial intelligence, to enhance the operations of the General Store.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Assists the Manager in supervising store operations and personnel.
  • Supports supervisory duties in alignment with IMGR&C policies and tribal regulations.
