About The Position
Popejoy Hall is looking for student employees to assist with the cleaning and upkeep of our venue, offices, and lobbies. This position will work a mix of daytime hours and nights/weekends. Also performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be able to lift 30lbs minimum
- Must be comfortable and able to use cleaning equipment and machinery
Nice To Haves
- Must be willing to work nights and weekends
- Must be willing to work as part of a team
Responsibilities
- Sweeping and mopping floors
- Vacuuming and shampooing carpets
- Cleaning restrooms and restocking supplies
- Emptying trash receptacles for proper disposal
- Ensuring all areas are locked after cleaning
- Utilizing the proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies
