About The Position

The General Service is responsible for all duties assigned by the Service Manager. This role involves assisting tire technicians, performing tire services, organizing the warehouse, maintaining tools and equipment, and ensuring the cleanliness of the office and restrooms. The work environment is a combination of office and shop, exposing the employee to dust, odors, oil, fumes, noise, heat, and outdoor elements. Physical demands include the ability to stand, walk, use hands, reach, and lift/carry at least 50 lbs.

Requirements

• Ability to manage time efficiently.
• Excellent organizational skills
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Tire Technician to gain experience and knowledge.
• Picks and delivers tire services assigned by the Service Manager.
• Patches tires, inspect wear patterns, and ensure tires are correctly inflated and properly replaced on the vehicle.
• Organizes the warehouse and off-loading container shipments.
• Responsible for policing the tools and equipment.
• Responsible for removal of tire disposal.
• Responsible for rubbish disposal.
• Responsible for cleaning office and restrooms.
