About The Position

Lamb's Tire & Automotive is seeking a General Service Technician to join their team. This role is an opportunity to start or grow an automotive career with a company that values potential and promotes from within. The starting pay is $15-$17 per hour, depending on experience and skill set. State Inspectors are particularly encouraged to apply.

Requirements

• A strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Flexibility to work Saturdays (with Sundays off)

Nice To Haves

• Some knowledge of basic automotive systems
• State Inspector License
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous automotive experience

Responsibilities

• Perform tire mounting, dismounting, balancing & rotation
• Conduct oil changes and other light vehicle maintenance
• Perform multi-point inspections and document vehicle conditions
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment
• Drive vehicles safely and courteously, obeying all traffic laws
• Pick up parts and supplies
• Transport customers as needed
• Follow all safety procedures and report any concerns to the direct supervisor
• Support team members with other assigned tasks
• Adhere to Sun Auto's core values and company policies
