Plaza Tire Service is seeking a General Service Technician to join their team. Requirements

• A strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Flexibility to work Saturdays (with Sundays off).
• Ability to stand up to eight hours per day and walk to gain access to various areas of the building.
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel and crouch regularly throughout the day; must have full range of motion with arms and hands and be able to feel, handle or finger objects frequently.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly, lift and/or move up to 70 pounds frequently.
• Ability to communicate with customers and shop personnel.
• Vision sufficient to detect color, depth, and re-focus.

Nice To Haves

• Some knowledge of basic automotive systems.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous automotive experience.
• High level of motivation and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform tire mounting, dismounting, balancing & rotation.
• Conduct oil changes and other light vehicle maintenance.
• Perform multi-point inspections and document vehicle conditions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment.
• Drive vehicles safely and courteously, obeying all traffic laws.
• Pick up parts and supplies.
• Transport customers as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and report any concerns to the direct supervisor.
• Support team members with other assigned tasks.
• Adhere to Sun Auto’s core values and company policies.
