About The Position

T.O. Haas Tire is immediately hiring hard-working individuals willing to learn for their General Service Technician (GS Tech) roles. No previous experience is required, as training will be provided while you are paid. This is an opportunity to learn new skills, commit to excellence, and grow within the company. T.O. The starting pay for this role is $14.00/Hr. to $17.00/Hr. The General Service Technician is responsible for performing non-technical automotive service repairs, including oil changes, tire and wheel services, and light vehicle maintenance. Additionally, the role involves driving customers, picking up parts, and maintaining shop cleanliness.

Requirements

• Valid Driver’s license
• Must be at least 18 years old

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in our GS Tech roles is not required.
• General understanding of under the hood, mechanical and under carriage assemblies is preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance and tire rotation.
• Performs oil changes and other basic services.
• Utilizes the company’s Multi-point Inspection and/or Repair Order to properly document the vehicle condition.
• Maintains cleanliness of the shop to include the service area, tire racks, showroom and outside the building to maintain a clean and inviting appearance.
• Requires driving vehicles in a safe and courteous manner obeying all traffic laws.
• Includes transporting customers, picking up parts, supplies, tires, etc. from vendors and/or the corporate office using the company vehicle.
• Follows all safety procedures and reports any concerns to direct supervisor.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including Saturdays.
• Other duties as assigned by direct supervisor.
